Sona Ghazarian

The armenian - austrian soprano studied piano, graduated in psychology at the university of Beirut, and received in only three years her diploma in vokal art with distinction. She has performed in all international opera houses with over 103 operetic roles such as London Covent Garden, the Paris national opera house, the Vienna state opera, la Scala di Milano, the New York Met, Carnegie Hall, Buenos Aires, Japan, Korea, China and at all famous major european stages. Famous  conductors such as Carlos Kleiber, Sir Colin Davis, H. B. Karajan, Sir Georg Solti and Riccardo Muti etc..have accompanied her for over 50 years at her one of a kind world career. She leads international Masterclasses, giving focus on vocal technique  interpretation, expression in Opera, Lied and Oratorium. Sona Ghazarian has received several awards  for extraordinary achievement. She is austrian Kammersängerin and laureate of the first class gold medal for Arts and Sciences by the Austrian Republic.
