Brigitte Stradiot

Brigitte Stradiot born in Lucerne /CH graduated with honours in vocal / classical singing and Music and Movement Education/Rhythmics at the Hochschule of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.Further studies at the Opera Studio of San Francisco.
Specialization in Baroque music with William Christie Paris and master classes in song recital by Erik Werba, Christa Ludwig and Barbara Bonney.

During her stage and concert career she sang at the Vienna Chamber Opera, the Opera in Nice, Venice, Paris and Taiwan.
She performed at many international festivals in Taiwan, Aix en Provence, Marseille, the Bruckner Festival in Linz, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Musikverein.
Numerous recitals have taken Brigitte Stradiot to Zurich, Bern, Basel, Munich, Paris, Monaco Salzburg and Vienna.
She also recorded CD Productions with music by Johann Strauß, Franz Lehàr, Robert Stolz and George Gershwin.

Her teaching career began at the conservatoire de Nice. She also works as a visiting professor in Monaco and Lucerne, later at the Hochschule of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. In 2008, she became a professor at the Institute Antonio Salieri, University of Musik and Performing Arts Vienna.

She leads international Masterclasses, giving focus on vocal technique and interpretation for Lied and Opera in Denmark, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia and Switzerland.
Brigitte Stradiot founded the Stetteldorfer Akzente a concert platform for young musician and is Juror at the international Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition.
