Julia Conwell

Studied at the University of Michigan.

For almost 30 years she has appeared in many of Europe’s finest opera theaters and concert halls - including Rome, Venice, Milan, Verona, Florence, Paris, Nice, Aix-en-Provence, Munich, Berlin, Salzburg, and Amsterdam. Her operatic roles span the modern to the classic: Lulu, Traviata, and Susanna. Her concert repertoire includes the “Sieben frühe Lieder” by Berg to Handel’s Messiah.

Ms. Conwell has had the good fortune to perform with such renowned musicians as Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Wolfgang Sawallish, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Nello Santi, Gerd Albrecht, Leonard Slatkin and Dennis Russel-Davies.

At the moment she is professor of Voice at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität.
