About Wiener MusikSeminar
The Wiener MusikSeminar was founded in 1979 by two renowned musicians: Mrs. Kimiko Sato, a soprano born in Japan who lived in Vienna, and Prof. Dr. Josef Dichler, a world-renowned pianist and composer from Vienna. Both founders passed away many years ago. Since then, the organization has been overseen by a president, a vice president, and members of the committee. These individuals, from the fields of music, culture, and economics, are dedicated to maintaining the high quality of the international master classes.
We take great pride in awarding many winners of the Prof. Dichler Competition and in welcoming participants from around the globe. Our master classes are led by highly professional and well-qualified professors who are committed to providing exceptional instruction.
To all participants joining this year’s international master courses, we wish you much success in your musical education and an unforgettable experience in Vienna.
Yours sincerely,
Univ. Prof. Mag. Dr. h. c. Kurt Schmid
President of the Wiener MusikSeminar
